Terms of use

Last updated: 8 October 2026

In short: listula is a free shared shopping list. It sells nothing and takes no payments. Use it fairly and check what you buy.

1. What listula is and what it is not

The listula service (listula.com) is provided by its owner (“we”); contact: . It helps several people keep one shopping list that updates for all of them at once. Using it means accepting these terms.

  • It is not a shop: listula sells nothing, takes no payments and has no ties to the shops you type in.
  • Prices and totals are only as right as the members entered them.
  • Product categories and the names in suggestions are picked by an AI model — it can be wrong.

2. Lists and access

There are no accounts. Your way into a list is a key kept in your browser: clearing the browser or losing the device may lose the access, and we cannot restore it.

  • New members are invited with a link; the list’s organizer (at first whoever created it; when they leave, the role passes to the member who joined earliest) sees the requests and decides whom to let in. Send an invitation only to the people it is meant for.
  • You choose your name on a list yourself; do not pretend to be someone else.
  • Everything on a list is seen by all its members. A member can remove those who joined after them.
  • The organizer can archive the list: access closes for everyone, and the list can be restored within the time the app names before archiving (by default 24 hours).
  • You can leave a list at any time; if you are the last to leave, the list is deleted for good.

3. What you must not do

  • put in anything illegal or offensive, other people’s personal details, passwords or payment details;
  • use the service for spam, fraud or deception;
  • guess other people’s links and codes, get around limits, or load the service with automated requests.

For a breach we may close a list or limit access to the service.

4. Guarantees and our liability

The service is provided free of charge, in its current form and when it is available: we don’t guarantee it will work without errors or interruptions. We try to keep it working and losing nothing. We may change, suspend or close the service.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by data that was entered or recognised wrongly, for purchases made or not made from a list, or for what other members do.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer in your country.

5. Your data

What you put in stays yours; we store it and show it to the list’s members so that the service works. The rest is in the Privacy policy.

6. Changes, complaints and disputes

We may update these terms: a new version, with its date, appears on this page. If you go on using the service after that, you accept the new version.

Send complaints about the service to — we will answer within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection the law of the country you live in gives you without exception, and you may go to court in your own country.
